Zen Garden
China Silk Table runners, bought at a Flea market, suspended from above catch your eye with their vivid colors and bold patterns. Ivory Mums are used to reflect the color of the runners boarders, and the round shape of the mums mimic the circular patters on them. A variety of grass's are used to create a garden effect.

Flower Power
Bright contrasting colors draw your eye to this florascape. Reminiscent of the 60's hippies, tie dye and flower power. These are artificially dyed flowers. The bright neon colors are made by putting the daisy stems in a strong dye and they "drink" up the dye. The containers are a stack of plastic picnic salad bowls. I have received many opposing comments on this arrangement. Most people love it, stating it is bright, fun, cheerful and brings a smile to there face. Europeans seem to love it also. Other people did not like it, stating they didn't like the colors, it looks fake, and irritates them.

Primative Simplicity
A metal 3 panel “screen” with a rustic shield or leaf motif has a primitive look. 2 large pots of gladiolas are placed in the folds of the “screen”. The near complimentary colors of the Gladiolas are a nice contrast, and the strong vertical lines of the “screen” and the flowers has the eye move upward from the bottom to the top of the arrangement
